Tea – The Taste of Tenderness

, ,

Tea is essential, isn’t it? It’s not just about the taste that has a way of lingering on the tongue like love’s old memories, but it’s the aroma that’s more intoxicating. Earthy, spiced, and tender, it wraps around like a lover’s whisper in the quiet of dusk.

And the warmth? An undemanding intimacy. It’s a hug after a long day, a cuddle on a lazy winter morning, a gentle massage easing a headache, and an enlivening conversation when creativity feels distant. Sipped alongside sweets, it’s a celebration of the small, unnoticed wins.

Tea, to me, has always been the taste of tenderness, my companion in moments of solitude. I am not one for tea parties; I prefer to keep it all to myself, like a possessive lover. A book, a cup of tea, and silence: the kind of love, that asks for nothing more than to be felt.
